Mentor Coaching

Prerequisites: Potentials Certification A

Potentials Professional Mentors have successfully completed the ICF Mentor Coach Markers Course. They will evaluate your coaching skills on several levels. This mentorship is essential to help you integrate a coaching mindset and skills into your innate presence as a coach. Further, it prepares you for both IFC and Potentials Certification. This 10 hours of online coaching includes 7 hours of group/cohort coaching with colleague and faculty feedback, as well as faculty review and feedback. Mentor Coaching is designed to support the creation of a recording that, when formally evaluated, passes standards for the Credential or Certification desired. Mentor Coaching can be requested at any time, though it typically begins after you have completed Potentials Certification A and Potentials Certification B (ICF Level I) and will be conducted over a minimum of 3 months (in order to comply with ICF requirements).

Each mentor coaching group/cohort includes at least 4 students and no more than 6 students.

10 Hours of Mentor Coaching can be taken at either the IFC ACC and/or the PCC Certiciation Level. Potentials faculty has found that ten hours may not be enough for a PCC level coach to meet other requirements.
