Prerequisites: Potentials Basic Coaching Certification and Potentials Mentor Coaching
Requirements: 100 Hours of Coaching Experience, Audio Review, Exam
Some will want to receive certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), such as individuals who are offering professional coaching within an organization, or seeking to open their own private practice (Coaching supervision is highly recommended).
Potentials makes it easy and turnkey to earn this certification. Our courses are designed to meet ICF Standards for a LEVEL I (Associate Certified Coach) and LEVEL II (Professional Certified Coach) training programs. And, as soon as you begin the Potentials Certification A, you can begin logging your coaching hours. (Potentials will provide you an approved coaching log.) You will also need to present a recording of a coaching session deemed by a Potentials Assessor to meet ICF Core Competency requirements. This will be formally assessed. You will need a time – stamped transcript of this recording, a signed release form from your client, and a formal evaluation from a Potentials Assessor.
*The ICF requires 10 Potentials Mentor Coaching hours and the successful completion of the ICF Credentialing exam only once. The candidate can take this if pausing at Level I or wait until the successful completion of Level II.
