Conversations with Claire

It was 2023, my mother was in critical condition in a hospital in Connecticut and I was in Florida at the Converge Conference (international) for ICF. I was a “newbie” to Converge and had been asked to be a discussant on a panel about LGBTQIA+ issues in coaching.

I spoke freely, grounded in the deeply integrated “presence philosophy” (“nephesh”) from which we educate our students. What I had to say was well-received, and there were multiple requests for “more”, that I be more accessible to ICF constituents. “Conversations with Claire” was born for sharing thoughts at that depth. I will be available at specific times for ongoing conversation about multiple topics (cultural impingements on our clients, cultural concerns, how to use a coach approach when language is an issue, and more).

This program is drop-in for the first three months (Oct, Nov, Dec). Sessions accommodate time zones from California to eastern Europe. Participants will be asked to respond to a survey at the end of each session, for program development, and in order to pursue continuing education (core competency) credit for these events.
